HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee has valued the directives of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor, President of the Supreme Council for Youth to give prizes allocated for the winners of the Inherited Sports Challenge to the finalists.
“We greatly value the directives of my brother HH Shaikh Nasser to distribute the prizes allocated for the winners of the Inherited Sports Challenge to the finalists. Such instructions came to underline HH Shaikh Nasser’s keenness to implement precautionary measures to protect our sportspeople from the coronavirus in line with the Coordinating Committee’s actions to combat the virus,” HH Shaikh Khalid said.
It’s worth noting that the Inherited Sports Challenge is one of HH Shaikh Khalid’s sports initiatives. It’s aimed to promote the traditional sports practiced by the Bahraini people before.
