Khalid bin Hamad Receives BAA’s Assistant General Secretary and Hails his Academic Achievement
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa,  President of West Asian Athletics Association  (WAAA) and President of Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA), received in his office in Al Wadi Palace the board member of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), Assistant General Secretary of BAA E. Bader Nasser on the ocassion of earning a Master’s degree in engineering from the British University in Dubai.
E. Nasser had the honour to present a copy of his master’s thesis, entitled: “Developing a Model for the Final Costs of Construction Projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain” to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa who expressed his thanks and appreciation to him for this outstanding scientific contribution, noting his tremendous efforts  in preparing the master’s thesis.
Moreover, HH Shaikh Khalid praised the efforts of the youth of the Kingdom of Bahrain and their professional and scientific initiatives in the field of engineering, and their interest in engineering research which will contribute to speed up the Kingdom’s pace of development.
Furthermore, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed his great pride in the scientific competencies of the Bahrainis serving in the sports field, specifically the members of the Board of Directors of BAA, who hold leadership positions and high scientific qualifications that have been contributing to the promotion of athletics sports in Bahrain and the implementation of the programmes and activities of the association.
He also praised the outstanding contribution of E. Nasser towards BAA and his follow-up to the project of building the new headquarters of the association thanks to his experience and expertise in the engineering field. It’s worth noting E. Nasser was the lead of the Bahraini delegation in the recently concluded 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta. And HH Shaikh Khalid praised E. Nasser’s efforts in preparring the Bahraini team for the contest, in which the Kingdom’s men earned 26 medals, including 12 gold, seven silver and seven bronze.
From his part, E. Nasser expressed his utmost thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikh Khalid for his support  to all the board members of BAA and the sportspeople in the Kingdom of Bahrain, stating that HH’s backing has positively impacted sports in Bahrain and has elevated it.
