On this occasion, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa said: “We congratulate BRAVE Organisation which is emanating from KHK Sports on announcing its business and marketing strategy. It’s one of the future steps that were well-considered by the Organisation and it translates the vision we formed for supporting BRAVE Championship which is today one of the largest sports gatherings in the world. The age of the Championship is merely five years, but it’s making its way towards success, confirming it is a Bahraini trademark in the MMA sports at the international level.”
He further added: “This wouldn’t have been possible without the backing and sponsorship extended to it by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain as well as the follow-up of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs and President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. This Championship has achieved many of the objectives we set out for launching it, including introducing the Kingdom of Bahrain to the whole world as a country of many urban and sports accomplishments. BRAVE Championship has contributed to maintaining the prestigious position reached by Bahrain in the sports field internationally,”
Building Collaboration Bridges
HH Shaikh Khalid continued: “Since launching the Championship, we targeted reaching the international level and we have drawn up a road map to meet the objectives we set out. We want to use sports to cement Bahrain’s links with the hosting countries of BRAVE as we are eyeing to build more collaboration bridges in sports and business. We have managed to open new horizons and create more opportunities to support professionalism in sports, especially in the MMA sport, while at the same time, boosting our economy and tourism sectors.”
Meanwhile, the press conference projected a film highlighting the achievements accomplished by BRAVE since its launch, while many prominent stats were revealed, including the number of BRAVE’s editions and countries that embraced the event as well as the number of channels that aired it and the viewers who followed it, besides the signed partnerships between the Championship and various sports bodies around the world.
